Walking for Wellbeing across South Tyneside Libraries

Join us for weekly walks from your local libraries

Come and join us for a pleasant walk! As part of the Know Your Neighbourhood Fund, South Tyneside Libraries have set up a programme of fantastic walks from each of the council libraries. These walks are open to everybody, they are free to attend and you don’t need to sign up.

Just turn up on the day and join us for some fresh air, good company and a pleasant ramble. All the walks have been carefully planned to make the most of our beautiful green spaces.

The walks are running weekly throughout the year and will start and finish at the library on the following days and times:

  • Jarrow Focus Library on Mondays from 10am
  • Hebburn Central Library on Mondays from 1pm
  • The Word, South Shields on Tuesdays from 1pm
  • Cleadon park Library on Wednesdays from 10am
