Supporting Student Wellbeing

Research shows some children and young people’s mental wellbeing has been substantially impacted due to the pandemic.

In support of World Mental Health Day on 10th October, Public Health England have launched a new self-care resources for teachers on the School Zone. These resources are underpinned by the five ways to wellbeing, and help students explore what self-care techniques work for them. There are a range of bite-sized activities covering topics such as mindfulness, connecting with others, and kindness.

This new self-care resource will work hand in hand with Studio You (online platform providing video-based PE lessons), and Your Mind Plan (plan to give you simple steps to look after your mental health).
