Joining the #MillionMileMission to help our communities, health and wellbeing
This spring, join Keep Britain Tidy and their community of #Litterheroes on their #MillionMileMission to clear litter from our streets, parks and beaches during the Great British Spring Clean (28th May – 13th June 2021). Because what is good for our environment is good for our mental and physical health too. In the past 12 months our outdoor spaces and places have mattered to us more than ever before and have shown us that spending time in the natural spaces around us can help us improve our health and wellbeing. Taking part in the Great British Spring Clean is also good for your own wellbeing through connecting with others in your community. In 2019, 83% of #LitterHeroes surveyed said they felt more pride in their local area after taking part and 84% said they would encourage other people that they know or meet not to drop litter. So join Keep Britain Tidy and show some love for those special places that helped us through lockdown.
