What is Canny Social?
Services across South Tyneside are working with the Including Men service and with partners Chili Studios and Land Digital to pilot an innovative new approach to improve the health and wellbeing of men in the borough. Canny Social (working title) is a secure platform offering a safe online environment where people can connect with peers and access professional support. The platform, due to launch in beta in Q1 of 2021 builds on the ‘Sober Social’ Platform Land Digital created for Changing Lives, to provide a calm and nurturing online space where people can be ‘canny’ to each other. Chilli Studios also run workshops online that use creativity as a means to build connections and to improve well being. Accessing the Service
Accessing service is easy. In the first instance make contact via their dedicated email address: styne@includingmen.org. One of the team will make contact to find out how they can help and support the service user to access the service as appropriate. During the initial pilot, new contacts can be directed to the service until 31st May 2021. After this time Chilli Studios and Including Men will continue to provide support to those already engaged but will not be onboarding new contacts.
