Who are VONNE?
VONNE (Voluntary Organisations’ Network North East) are the lead VCSE partner for the North East & North Cumbria VCSE Leadership Programme working in partnership with our Integrated Care System (ICS) to support greater engagement and involvement of the VCSE in the ICS and health and care system.
They use their position to raise the profile of the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector and ensure it is valued as an equal partner. VONNE are recognised as a source of intelligence and are frequently invited to contribute to strategic government policy discussions and consultations, representing the sector both regionally and nationally. They also partnerships and builds opportunities for collaboration within the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in the North East, and between the sector and external stakeholders. VONNE provides funding information to help charities, community and voluntary groups, and social enterprises. They facilitate programmes to build skills and capacity and develop leadership, governance and innovation in the sector.
