International Mens Day 2021

International Mens Day 2021

On November 19th International Men’s Day celebrates worldwide the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities. It is to highlight positive role models and raise awareness of men’s wellbeing.

One of the six pillars of International Men’s Day is to improve gender relations and promote gender equality not only for men but for women too. Because of the theme for 2021 is “Better Relations Between Men and Women”

International Men’s Day promotes the need to value manhood and womanhood and help people make practical improvements for positive relationships between the sexes. We must bring an end to the gender war and work toward reconciliation between men and women for the greater good of all.

Finding Out More About Men’s Health

One man in five dies before the age of 65, but together we can change male, premature deaths which are caused by preventable causes. Taking about our physical and mental health can be awkward, but without talking about our health, or seeking help when we are concerned, we can become unwell. By starting conversations with those around us, and our GPs, we can better look after our bodies, minds and overall health. To find out more about men’s health, click here.
