Mental Health and Emotional Support over Christmas
You’re not alone. If you have feelings of loneliness, anxiety or feel down over this Winter period, talk to someone who can help. Contact your GP during their opening hours or if your enquiry is urgent you can contact NHS 111 by calling: 111 (option 2) and this number is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Christmas can be a difficult time and at times like this some people feel like they might need a bit of emotional support to help them get through. The Samaritans service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, even over the holidays so that they can support people who need support around their mental health whenever they need it the most. They offer a safe place for you to talk any time you like, in your own way – about whatever’s getting to you. Click here to find out more about their service and to reach out to them.

Shout Crisis Messenger will also remain available 24/7 over the Christmas and New Year period/ Their service is a free, confidential and 24/7 text messaging service for anyone in the UK who needs support.
