Integrated Care System (ICS) Autism Peer Research Project

Autism Peer Research Project

Your Voice Counts wants to hear from people who have gone through or are waiting for an autism diagnosis and are:

  • over 18
  • do not also have a learning disability
  • live in the North East region

We would like to hear your ideas on the types of support you would have found helpful before and after receiving an autism diagnosis. We will be sharing your ideas with the NHS in order to help improve autism assessment for those going through it in the future.

We launched a survey but have realised that some autistic people can find surveys difficult to complete.

We would like to offer another way for you to have your voice heard. You can simply email us your thoughts at yvc.uk@nhs.net

The questions we would like you to share your thoughts on are…

  • What support would have been helpful for you while waiting on an autism diagnosistic assessment?
  • What support would have been helpful for you after you recieved your autism diagnosis
  • Who do you think would be best to provide this support?

We are very grateful for your time and would like to offer every participant the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw for a £100 shopping voucher.
