What is ‘WHiST’?

WHiST stands for Women’s Health in South Tyneside and they provide services for women age 16+ around physical and emotional wellbeing.  Their services include; counselling, courses, exercise, support groups and complementary therapies for women living with issues such as abuse, domestic violence, depression, isolation, physical and mental ill health.

What are they looking for?

WHiST is looking for delivery partners to help expand the range of learning provision for women. They would be interested to talk to any learning provider, tutor or activity leader who would like the opportunity to work with them at; Salus House, South Shields.

Learning could be in any subject including, for example, exercise, skills development, health improvement or art. WHiST provides free support to women, so provision must be externally funded.
