Sunderland Pride 2021
Sunderland Virtual Pride Festival 2021 will take place from Monday 2nd August to Sunday 8th August and is hosted by Sunderland Pride. Over the week long event we will be celebrating in style and safety. The last year has been devastating to so many as well as leaving a lasting impact on businesses. This year we want to do what we can to support the businesses within our city and share the great things they do.
What is happening? I hear you ask……. well it’s simple.
Online satellite events will be taking place on the Sunderland Pride Facebook page and website during the week. Sunderland Pride want YOUR help to create the BEST Virtual Pride Parade Sunderland has ever seen! So here’s everything you need to know to help us create a Virtual Pride Parade which will air online 12pm on August 7th.

Looking for a few ideas to get you started?
- Film or livestream yourself and invite family members, friends, and pets to join the fun strutting down the street or around the house.
- Put on your best clothes, dress up as your favourite queer icon, impress us with your best lip-sync and/or dance moves.
