Step Into Employment

Finding your perfect job can be a difficult task but Sunderland College are here to help you every step of the way. Whether you are looking to get back into work, or retrain for a different career, our courses are designed to support you to develop the skills employers need. If you are aged 19 or over and unemployed, we have a wide range of free courses available. If you are in work and looking to develop new skills many of our courses will be free, depending on your circumstances. Courses vary in duration from 1 week to 6 months depending on your course choice. We are sure to have something to help you achieve you dream job! Build confidence and learn new skills

Our employability courses help you to improve self-confidence and learn
new skills. They will help you prepare for employment, self-employment, volunteering or further learning. Designed to fit with your career goals,
they will provide you with the core skills you need to progress.

Train for employment and sector-based courses

Our work academy programmes are designed and delivered with local
employers to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed for specific job roles within their organisation. They include pre-employment training, work experience and a guaranteed interview for current job vacancies in a
range of areas.
