The Art Studio Sunderland

The Art Studio Sunderland is a well established Arts and Mental Health Charity that enables it’s members to explore the therapeutic nature of the creative arts in a friendly, safe and supportive environment. We work with anyone who has an interest in art, who is over the age of 18, who lives in the Sunderland/Washington/Houghton and who has a mild to moderate mental health diagnosis. If you fit the above criteria you can join the service using the following procedures: *Look Around – book a look around the studio to ensure that the service would be beneficial to you. *Referral – once you know this is for you, get your mental health professional or GP to complete a referral form (preferably with a FACE risk assessment and care plan) *Induction – once your referral has been reviewed you will be invited for an induction where you will sign permission forms for the studio. After this you are welcome to use the studio for up to 2 full days per week. Opening times: Mon – 10am until 4.30pm Tues – 10am until 4.30pm Wed – 10am until 4.30pm Thurs – 10am until 4.30pm Fri – 10am until 4.30pm CLOSED SATURDAY CLOSED SUNDAY
