St Simon’s is situated on the Simonside Estate, Wenlock Road South Shields NE34 9AL.

The Parish of St. Simon, Simonside was formed in 1875.  The parish was disolved on 31st December 2018 and a new Parish. The Parish of Jarrow and Simonside was created on 1 January 2019, this included the churches of St John’s Perth Green, St Peter’s Jarrow and St Paul’s Jarrow.

St Simon’s Church is now a Warm Space for the community of South Tyneside…
