The Intensive Community Treatment Service is part of South of Tyne Children and Young People’s Services. ICTS provide intensive home based treatment for children and young people with complex mental health needs. ICTS also provide urgent assessments for self-harm and acute mental health presentations.

The service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Please telephone 0191 566 5500

ICTS hours are:

  • 8am – 9.00pm Monday to Friday
  • 10am – 6pm Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays

Support and advice is available to children, young people and parents/carers. Outside of these hours you can contact the Initial Response Team on 0191 566 5500 who will deal with your call and offer you support over the telephone. Your details will be passed to the team once we are open again.
