Cancer Connections

If you have cancer, have had cancer in the past, are caring for someone with cancer, have a child or family member with cancer, or have been bereaved, you are welcome at Cancer Connections.
Cancer Connections is a friendly “home from home”, where you can feel safe and supported, knowing that staff and volunteers understand your situation.

Cancer Connections, located in South Tyneside in the North East of England, is a charity dedicated to serving individuals and families suffering from cancer and its after-effects.

At 258 Harton Lane, South Shields, you will find a real ‘home from home’ for anyone affected by cancer and someone to talk with who understands what it is like to have cancer.

Although treatment in the NHS is very good, many people need emotional and practical help when trying to return to ‘normal life’ after cancer. Talking and sharing your anxieties with someone who has been through the same experience can be an enormous help.
