For most families, the cost of school uniforms can be a struggle and an extra financial worry. We could all do with a little bit of help from time to time so as children across the city have returned to school this month, Sunderland City Council have created a webpage with details of school uniform support, and have put information together that might be helpful when you’re organising your child’s school uniform. It’s worth checking with your child’s school to find out if there are any available grants, vouchers or support towards clothing costs.
