Community help And Neighbourly Care for Everyone (CHANCE) Sunderland is a well established voluntary organisation and a registered charity that is run by local people for local people. The organisation was set up in 1993 by a group of female residents who lived in the Garths, A high rise blocks of flats that was situated in the East End of Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.

Based within the heart of East End, Hendon with have facilities to run a wide range of community, family and young people’s activities. We are always open to ideas and have a venue suitable to host meetings, run craft clubs, lunch clubs, quiz nights and so much more. So linger awhile, read about us and then come down and join us and the fun we have
