Together for Children Sunderland and North East and North Cumbria ICB have partnered with BFB Labs to offer free access to Lumi Nova.

Lumi Nova: Tales of Courage is a digital therapeutic intervention that helps with the symptoms of worries or anxiety for children aged 7-12 years, helping them learn skills to self-manage their worries in an engaging intergalactic adventure game (app). Key features:

  • Recommended by NICE (The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence)
  • Lumi Nova facilitates graded exposures (the active ingredient of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) with psychoeducation
  • Parent/guardian supported intervention
  • Built in safeguarding & accessibility features
