House Rules

  • Live Chat conversations usually last an average of 15 minutes between you and a member of staff. This is so that staff can understand what kind of support you are looking for, e.g. financial, housing, health, mental health, and where you are based. We will then be able to utilise the resources available within our directory to signpost you to appropriate local support.
  • wellbeinginfo.org’s Live Chat Service is confidential, however if a member of staff feels that there is any risk of harm to yourself or anyone else, we would need to share this information in order to keep you safe. For further information on the confidentiality of our services, please speak with your counsellor during a Live Chat. Alternatively, you can call us on: 01914178043 or email: info@washingtonmind.org.uk, during the above times, to speak with a member of our team.
  • We ask that when completing the initial contact form prior to being connected to a member of staff, you provide us with information as accurate as possible as this information enables us to support you at this time.
  • In order for Live Chat to remain a safe space, we ask that you take part in the service respectfully. Unfortunately, when language is used to offend, this could result in a chat being ended.
  • Wellbeinginfo.org follows GDPR guidelines in regards to privacy and the handling your data. However if you have any questions about data protection, please contact us on: info@washingtonmind.org.uk.
  • If communication is cut off during a Live Chat, we will contact you as soon as possible aster the disconnection using the contact details you provided at the start of the chat, this could be a telephone call, a text or an email. If we are concerned about you or your safety and are unable to reach you on these details, we will try to contact your next of kin to ensure you are safe. This is another reason why it is vitally important that you provide accurate contact information which we can reach you on should the live chat end unexpectedly.
