What is Washington Mind?
Washington Mind was established in 1981, a local charity providing mental health and wellbeing support, services and training for the local community. They aim to provide quality mental health services, based in the local community, in a non-stigmatising environment for those aged 11 and above, who are experiencing, or who are at risk of, developing mental ill health and emotional distress. Services include; 1-1 counselling for those aged 11+ in the Sunderland area, social support groups, training and more.
