Celebrating Change Project
Celebrating Change is a year-long project that teaches you how to tell stories from your life using memoir, poetry, and film techniques including stop-motion animation
The Cultural Spring are working in partnership with East Durham Creates and artists Kirsten Luckins and Laura Degnan, to fund five places on this year-long programme supporting people to develop their skills in digital storytelling.
Sessions are aimed at beginners and will focus on filmmaking and editing (using an IPAD) and creative memoir writing. An IPAD will be provided to participants for the duration of the project.
These sessions are free and they are looking for five Sunderland residents to join the programme.
Places are on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to sign up, please contact Emma Horsman from The Cultural Spring by Tuesday 15 February. Email info@theculturalspring.org.uk or call 0191 4278197
If people need transport to get to sessions, this can be provided but they would need to know this in advance. A member of the Cultural Spring team will be supporting participants at the first few sessions.
