NDRC Northeast Disabilities Resource Centre
We now have a brand new and amazing purpose-built specialist day centre provided in partnership with Sunderland City Council.
Our unique Centre lies within the heart of the City Centre, a short distance from all that the city has to offer, from shops to cafes, from bars to bowling alleys, and from parks to cinemas just to name a few places of interest. We can support you in accessing all of these and many more, helping you to have a fulfilling lifestyle.
NDRC has celebrated more than 50 years of service, the broad aim of which has always been the enhancement of our people’s lives who require support. Many of our clients/members are people diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, but we also provide support for those who may have allied conditions such as a physical disability and/or a learning difficulties.
We can offer one to one and group support in most chosen activities, whether this is indoors or outdoors.
Many of our members have gone on to achieving accreditations in computer skills, numeracy and literacy, horticulture, through our skills for care courses. We can also offer support to members to formulate a CV for job searches and volunteer work within the community.
