Hendon Young Musicians Project offers music-making sessions for young people, aged 8-16, living in the Hendon area of Sunderland. It has been developed in partnership with Back on the Map and it takes place at Elliott House every Wednesday, during term time.

  •  Hendon Singing Club: Wednesday 3:30-4.45pm. Singing club for 8-11 year olds (primary school). Sing all your favourite songs in a group with friends! No experience necessary and a chance to meet other young people who love to sing. Note children attending this session must be collected by their caregiver/responsible adult.

Sessions are free to attend and will be led by musician Lesley Roley. Music experience isn’t necessary – whether you want to give playing an instrument a go, or learn how to write a song, we will be on hand to help you!

Location: Elliott house, Mainsforth Terrace W, Sunderland, SR2 8JX.
