A Sunderland Health Champion can be anyone over 18 years-old with a connection to Sunderland, an interest in health and wellbeing and a willingness to share information with your family, friends and colleagues. You can join the programme as a Health Messenger or take up our free training offer.
As a Health Messenger, we just ask that you cascade health messages from the Health Champions Team to your networks. You’ll also receive a monthly newsletter and have the chance to participate in “optional” quarterly network meetings.
To participate in the Sunderland Health Champions programme, please complete a registration form via this link: Link to Health Champions Registration Form
For those who wish to become a Health Champion you also have access to all the training courses detailed below. All training is subsidised by Sunderland City Council so free of charge for participants. To find out more about each module please visit https://www.livelifewell.org.uk/health-champions/
